Uhuru - A Working Alternative
From the first page:
“This book was written collectively. We can say that not just because 26 people actually wrote paragraphs and chapters of it, but because all Uhuru’s workers, friends and critics contributed ideas and experiences to it.”
With line drawings by members of the collective. Completed in early 1976. We sold a good 2,000 of them. Tess and I edited it. This is where I learned many of the benefits and problems inherent in collectives and the rejection of patriarchal types of hierarchy.
